Welcome, Hololooters, to the monthly recap for September! Following on from our massive August, the team spent the month consolidating our development roadmap and preparing for the upcoming quarter.
That’s not to say nothing happened on the community side — we had some awesome giveaways, and the CryptoZoo was abuzz with activity. Our CEO Adam also took a moment to deliver an update on the state of the project and our near- and long-term development goals.
MEXC collaborations
On the back of our massive giveaway with Enjin in August, we launched two competitions with the leading centralized exchange MEXC.
As part of our partnership, we developed a mascot for MEXC that is now available for free in the Hololoot app. Check it out and let us know what you think — we’re still working on a name, so feel free to hit us up with your suggestions!
Thanks to everyone who entered the competitions with MEXC. The lucky winners took home tokens and CryptoZoo AR NFTs. Of course, a big congratulations to those winners 🏆
We also joined MEXC for a Twitter Space AMA to help spread the word about how Hololoot is making the metaverse mobile. You can listen to the full recording here.
CryptoZoo
The CryptoZoo won’t stop growing, so it’s lucky we’ve got nearly unlimited space in the metaverse ✨
We recently welcomed three new residents to the zoo: the astounding Ripple Panda (XRP), the irrepressible ApeCoin Ape (APE) and the smoldering Efinity Dragon (EFI).
Moving forward, our CryptoZoo bios will be shared fortnightly. This is to give our talented designers enough time to produce the amazing assets you’ve come to love ✨
Hot off the Holo-press
Over on Medium, we took a look at why AR could be the next frontier for NFTs. This article is a response to another shared on NewsBTC discussing that very topic. If you haven’t yet, give it a read — they do, of course, mention Hololoot 😉
NFT collectors have a lot to look forward to on our INO launchpad, which is why we broke down our plans for it in a recent article. This post goes into the key differences between the INO launchpad and the marketplace, and what to look forward to from each in both the near- and long-term.
There’s been a lot going on and Hololoot and in the markets more generally, and in September, our CEO Adam Bialon wrote a letter discussing some important milestones and events in our journey. This letter takes a look at some changes within Hololoot and looks forward to what we’ve got planned for the rest of the year, and into early 2023. Check it out here.
It’s nearly Holoween 🎃
October is many things to many people, but one thing is for sure across the board — October is the spookiest month 👻
Our marketplace contains some terrifying AR NFT assets for you to claim for free, and this month we think you should! Claim them, download them, and get creative by making some AR videos. We’d love to see what you come up with!
If you’re looking for inspo, look no further than our TikTok and YouTube channels, where we regularly upload skits and videos recorded with the Hololoot app.
Of course, spooky videos aren’t the only thing to look forward to in October. More partnerships, giveaways, and competitions await as we march forward into Q4. As always, make sure you’re following all our channels for the latest news from Hololoot 🔥
